The following materials were used on the home’s 85-square roof:

• • Fabral 1 1/2-inch SSR 24-gauge standing seam Galvalume
  • 7-inch gutters rollformed from Fabral 20-inch 24-gauge Galvalume
  • Round downspouts, Galvalume

Roof Report

This new home was built on the shores of Lake Murray from October 2012 to February 2013. It was designed by brothers Dean (Professional Contracting Services) and Eddie Rodgers for Eddie, his wife and two children.

Fabral Engineer Mark Mullins and Sales Manager Jeff Courtney provided shop drawings with detailed panel layouts, trim drawings and panel calculations to meet the most stringent building codes.

With the home’s ridge at more than 70 feet from the ground and very detailed roof lines, the 12:12 pitch was a challenge. A 70-foot lift with ladders attached to it was the only way to reach the ridge.
