Kett Tool, an Ohio-based manufacturer of electric and pneumatic tools, announces that Rick Fowkes, vice president of Kett Tool, has retired from the company. Fowkes retires after 34 years of service with the company. Alex Rozumovich, previously director of engineering, has assumed the role of vice president.

“Throughout his Kett career, Rick has demonstrated integrity and an enduring commitment to our company,” says Kathy Conlon, president, Kett Tool Co. “Rick has been a valuable partner to me and to the company throughout his 34 years. We thank him for his career with Kett Tool and wish him the best in retirement.”

During his 34 years with Kett, Fowkes was involved in all aspects of the business. He began his career at Kett Tool in 1982 as a sales associate. After gaining several years of sales and marketing experience, he became sales manager for the company in 1989. In 2007, he was promoted to vice president of the company, where he oversaw day-to-day activities, marketing and sales, public relations and strategic planning.

“I am grateful to have spent 34 years with this great company, and deeply honored to have had the opportunity to be part of its leadership for the last nine,” says Fowkes. “I am very proud of what my Kett colleagues have accomplished during our time together and know that Alex will play a big part in the continued success of the company going forward.”

Rozumovich has served as director of engineering since 2007.
