Obituary: Randy Allen, Triangle Fastener Corporation

Triangle Fastener Corporation (TFC) announced that Randy Allen passed away. “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Randy Allen,” the company said in a statement. “Our friend and coworker passed away January 17, Friday afternoon, after fighting a bout with pancreatic cancer. Randy had just turned 65 years of age.”

Allen retired from TFC on December 31, 2019, after 10 years of service as the company’s National Accounts Manager, and he was most recently Territory Manager for the TFC Houston branch. Allen was active with industry associations including the Metal Construction Association (MCA) and the Metal Building Manufacturers Association (MBMA). With the MCA, Allen was a board member and chaired the Accessories Committee. Allen had extensive knowledge of the metal building and metal roofing industries. “At trade shows and association meetings, he never knew a stranger, and everyone knew him,” the company stated.
