S-5! Offers New AIA-Approved Course on Snow Retention Devices

S-5! is offering a new AIA CEU Continuing Education course: “Snow Retention Devices, the Good, the Bad and the Ugly.” The one-hour AIA approved HSW (Health, Safety and Welfare) course is available online or as a live presentation in a “lunch and learn” format presented by Harry Lubitz, CSI, CDT, RCI, the Architectural and National Accounts Director for S-5!

The course provides framework for understanding the importance of snow retention on roofs, examines various roof type applications, and identifies applications that have proven more successful at retaining snow. It underscores the critical need for proper planning, calculating, engineering and installing of these systems.

The online version is available on the Ron Blank & Associates website at http://ronblank.com/cgi-bin/info.pl?action=course&id=296. For more information on the in-person presentation, contact S-5! at [email protected] or by calling 888-825-3432.
