Senator Ben Sasse Scheduled to Give the Opening Address at MRCA Conference and Expo

The Midwest Roofing Contractors Association (MRCA) announced that Senator Ben Sasse of Nebraska is scheduled to give the Opening Address at the upcoming MRCA Conference and Expo in Omaha on October 25 at 8:30 a.m. in the Junior Ballroom of the Omaha Convention Center. Senator Sasse will share his perspective on the state of U.S. politics and the environment in Washington.

As his official website notes, Senator Sasse has advocated for “more constructive politics whereby every public official works to make the American Dream achievable for every family. He believes in term limits and a humbler Washington, where the federal government does fewer things, but the more important things, more urgently, more transparently, and with less partisan screaming.”

Senator Sasse serves on the Senate Judiciary Committee, the Senate Committee on Armed Services, the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, as well as the Senate Joint Economic Committee. The Senator’s direct involvement on these key committees makes him an especially impactful and insightful voice on Congressional activity.

Immediately following the address, McKay Daniels, NRCA’s Chief Operating Officer and former Congressional Chief of Staff, and Duane Musser, NRCA’s Vice President of Government Affairs, will offer their industry-specific insight into the federal legislative and regulatory landscape and discuss what you can do to support the roofing industry through grassroots activism.
