Antis Roofing Recognized for Giving Back to Families & Frontline Heroes

Antis Roofing announced it has won two out of the five awards at OneOC’s 2020 Community Cup. 37 teams from 30 Orange County companies and nonprofits participated in the second annual Community Cup Charity Challenge. The teams consisted of 227 employee volunteers who contributed nearly 2,500 volunteer hours to their respective cause, in addition to cash and in-kind donations. Antis Roofing built two teams each taking home an award: Best Overall Impact Project with CA Love Drop, which supports and fuels healthcare workers and first responders by providing meals, beverages, treats, and supplies, and Best Hands-On Project with Second Harvest Food Bank, feeding the hungry and engaging the community in the fight against hunger.

“We’ve provided the essential service of keeping families safe and dry for over 30 years, and this year our purpose was clear in that our role must expand to support essential workers who are keeping us safe during these unprecedented times,” said Charles Antis, Founder and CEO of Antis Roofing. “We’re innovating in the moment to be able to give back where it’s needed most as we’ve seen firsthand how simple acts of kindness can have rippling effects throughout our communities,” Charles continued as he recalled a recent memory when his team delivered lunch to a local police station where a sergeant shared that it was the first act of kindness they’d received in months.

Antis Roofing has put charitable work at the forefront of everything it’s done for over 30 years, which has included ongoing partnerships with many for-cause organizations including Ronald McDonald House Orange County and Habitat for Humanity of Orange County. OneOC’s Community Cup is an impactful community service competition which directs much needed resources to Orange County nonprofits. Due to COVID, local businesses were encouraged to think outside of the box to support their communities and engage their employees in volunteerism. Each company partnered with a charity on a project and then a panel of judges decided the winners based on overall impact in the community, monetary and in-kind donations, volunteer hours, social media promotion, and more.

Antis Roofing Names Vice President of Finance

Antis Roofing & Waterproofing announced the promotion of Audrey Schneider to Vice President of Finance. She is responsible for managing all aspects of the finance organization as well as the strategic financial direction of the company.

As VP, Schneider’s focus will be on sustainable, healthy growth by expanding markets through a strategy of adding high quality and value to the customers served by Antis. According ot the company, she embraces Antis Roofing’s commitment to philanthropy and is a member of the Habitat for Humanity Leadership Build Committee. Last year the team raised more than $310,000 to support affordable housing for all families.

 “Audrey is full of wonderment and happy energy; it’s common to see her high-fiving co-workers after she’s discovered a better way to track data,” said Charles Antis, founder and CEO of Antis Roofing & Waterproofing. “We are fortunate to have her leading our finances here at Antis.”

Schneider joined Antis Roofing in 2017 and has over 20 years of experience as a finance professional.  She began her career at Price Waterhouse Coopers and has held several key financial positions in private, public and non-profit companies. She is a Certified Public Accountant and has a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara and is a member of Vistage CEO Leadership Group.  She and her husband John are parents of three adult sons. “I am excited to continue purposeful work at Antis at a pivotal time during the company’s growth,” Schneider says.

Antis Roofing Announces Two Executive Promotions

Susan DeGrassi, formerly Director of Cause, will take on expanded responsibilities with her promotion to Vice President, Administration and Cause and Aaron Antis, formerly Director of Sales for Antis Roofing has been promoted to Vice President, Sales and Field Operations.  The announcements were made by Charles Antis, Chief Executive Officer, of Orange County-based Antis Roofing and Waterproofing.

Susan DeGrassi, a veteran of the community management industry, spent twenty-seven years with Merit Property Management (now First Service Residential,) the last seven as Executive Vice President. In 2017, she joined Antis as Director of Cause to lead the company’s philanthropic effort, primarily providing no-cost roofing to non-profits with buildings in need of repair. In 2019, Susan was recognized by the Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce with its Inaugural Women of Influence award. She currently serves on the Board of National Women in Roofing.

Aaron Antis will continue to lead the Antis Sales Team, and also oversee the Field Operations Team. In this role he has responsibility for all client-facing work, including onsite operations, quality control and project management. Susan DeGrassi, well known in the Orange County Community as Antis’ philanthropy representative, will assume added responsibility for Antis’ internal operations, including customer service and support, HR, IT and other administrative functions.

Aaron Antis, nephew of founder and CEO, Charles Antis, joined the company in 2007 as a trainee roofer and has trained and worked in all the company’s core business departments since then. In 2018, the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) selected Aaron as one of thirty-six emerging leaders in the roofing industry to attend Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management for the NRCA University’s Future Executive Institute.
