BKCR404 is designed with high-molecular-weight polyethylene fiber thread blend to ensure dexterity and tactile sensitivity. This HDPE knit fiber provides ANSI cut level 4 protection without bulk. The polyurethane coating over palms and fingers is pliable, enhancing dry grip. When compared to nitrile and latex coatings, polyurethane offers a high level of dexterity and improves ergonomics.

The coating on the BKCR404 leaves minimal marking (residue)—even on glass, metal or other fine finishes. The BKCR404 is approved by PPG on its low emissivity (or low-e glass coated) products due to minimal marking and easy clean up.

The BKCR4599 offers ANSI level 4 cut resistance, light oil and moisture resistance, non-tacky slip resistance and shock-absorbing impact protection. On the palm and fingers, the glove features three layers of protection. The liner is polyethylene and spandex composite that is bonded to a gray polyurethane fabric topped with a grippy nitrile surface. In critical areas of the palm, padding provides impact resistance. The back of the hand includes sonically welded thermoplastic rubber padding for pounding and abrasion resistance.

The BKCR4499 begins with a machine-knit, ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene shell that offers ANSI cut level 4 protection, which has a strength-to-weight ratio that’s eight to 15 times higher than steel. The glove’s layered construction is designed to conform to the natural contours of the hand and includes flex points in the fingers, wrist and palm, helping to ensure maximum comfort and increase compliance. Thermoplastic rubber padding is sonically welded to the back of the glove and offers protection from contusions, smash injuries, punctures and object strikes, with pinch protection extending to each fingertip. The sandy finish of the black nitrile palm coating offers excellent wet grip and slip resistance along with abrasion resistance.

For long-lasting durability, the BKCR4499 is double-stitched in high-wear areas, such as the fingertips, index finger and palm. It offers flexibility and an ergonomic design. The bright lime green shell color meets the requirements of American National Standard (ANSI/ISEA 107-2010) for High-Visibility Safety Apparel and Headwear Devices.
