The National Roofing Legal Resource Center (NRLRC) has released its Roofing Contractors Introductory Guide to Reviewing Construction Contracts, which is designed to educate and assist roofing professionals in negotiating contracts. The rights and obligations of roofing contractors are governed by the terms of the contracts they sign. The guide discusses terms that frequently appear in contracts they are asked to sign and offers suggestions about how to revise provisions that may be disadvantageous if a problem were to develop. National Roofing Legal Resource Center Announces Slate of Officers

The National Roofing Legal Resource Center (NRLRC) has announced its slate of officers for the 2015-16 fiscal year.

J.J. Smithey, president of Frost Roofing Inc., Wapakoneta, Ohio, has been elected NRLRC president and Susan Boyd, vice president of Academy Roofing, Aurora, Colo., was elected vice president.
