Antis Roofing Announces Two Executive Promotions

Susan DeGrassi, formerly Director of Cause, will take on expanded responsibilities with her promotion to Vice President, Administration and Cause and Aaron Antis, formerly Director of Sales for Antis Roofing has been promoted to Vice President, Sales and Field Operations.  The announcements were made by Charles Antis, Chief Executive Officer, of Orange County-based Antis Roofing and Waterproofing.

Susan DeGrassi, a veteran of the community management industry, spent twenty-seven years with Merit Property Management (now First Service Residential,) the last seven as Executive Vice President. In 2017, she joined Antis as Director of Cause to lead the company’s philanthropic effort, primarily providing no-cost roofing to non-profits with buildings in need of repair. In 2019, Susan was recognized by the Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce with its Inaugural Women of Influence award. She currently serves on the Board of National Women in Roofing.

Aaron Antis will continue to lead the Antis Sales Team, and also oversee the Field Operations Team. In this role he has responsibility for all client-facing work, including onsite operations, quality control and project management. Susan DeGrassi, well known in the Orange County Community as Antis’ philanthropy representative, will assume added responsibility for Antis’ internal operations, including customer service and support, HR, IT and other administrative functions.

Aaron Antis, nephew of founder and CEO, Charles Antis, joined the company in 2007 as a trainee roofer and has trained and worked in all the company’s core business departments since then. In 2018, the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) selected Aaron as one of thirty-six emerging leaders in the roofing industry to attend Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management for the NRCA University’s Future Executive Institute.

Duro-Last Inc. Promotes New Regional Sales Manager

Duro-Last, Inc. announced the recent promotion of Brandon Schember to the position of Regional Sales Manager for the states of Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa and Missouri. In this role, Brandon will oversee sales and business development, carrying out strategies and tactics that meet the overall business objectives of the territory.

Prior to this promotion, Brandon served as the Sales Development Coordinator for the same region, and was instrumental in the success of the territory by providing exceptional support and coordination of resources to authorized Duro-Last contractors and sales representatives in the field.

Mule-Hide Products Co. Inc. Names Managing Director

Bryan Olson has been promoted to managing director of Mule-Hide Products Co. Inc., a subsidiary corporation of ABC Supply Co. Inc. In this position, Olson will build on the momentum that former President Jonathan Shepard and his team created before Shepard’s promotion to vice president of ABC Supply’s Southwest Region.

Prior to his promotion, Olson was the director of merchandising and exterior systems for L&W Supply. Olson joined L&W Supply when the company acquired NexGen Building Supply in May 2018. During his time as general manager of NexGen Building Supply, sales tripled, and the company gained significant market share throughout the Midwest. Olson has also held executive leadership positions in the stone and tile industry after graduating from the University of Kansas.

As managing director of Mule-Hide Products, Olson will be responsible for the complete business performance of the company, which offers low-slope roofing products, including membranes, adhesives, sealants and coatings.

KARNAK Corporation Announces New Technical Hire and Promotion

KARNAK announced that Andrew Bernosky has been hired as Technical Sales Manager and John Doan has been promoted to Regional Technical Manager for the West and Midwest regions.

“The addition of Andrew and promotion of John allow for a much-needed expansion to our technical team,” stated KARNAK COO Chris Salazar. “These roles will help support the rapid growth we’ve been experiencing in all of our markets and in the west in particular.”

As Technical Sales Manager for KARNAK, Bernosky will monitor and maintain our product code compliance, become the point of contact for code and government regulations, assist in prioritizing research and development projects, oversee handling of warranted roofs and maintain all technical documents.

Doan previously served as a Regional Field Manager in North Texas before being promoted to the Regional Technical Manager. In this role, he will become the technical point of contact for all business functions in the assigned region.

Bernosy and Doan will both report to Chris Huettig, National Director of Technical Sales at KARNAK.

Bernosky previously worked at GAF Materials Corporation where he spent the past six years in a technical role.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology. Prior to joining KARNAK in 2015, John worked for Trufast Corporation where he spent six years as Southwest Regional Manager.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering Technology from Montana State University.
