Reliant Roofing Completes New Roof for Local Food Pantry

Reliant Roofing has completed the first phase of their second annual Every Shingle Heart Initiative. On Saturday, November 17th Reliant Roofing completed the roof replacement for Macclenny Samaritan Food Bank and held a food drive in their honor. This is the first year that the Jacksonville based roofing company has included a non-profit in their Every Shingle Heart Initiative, which provides new roofs to the community in need. Earlier this year, Reliant Roofing announced in a surprise ceremony their selection of two local families to receive new roofs as well.

CEO Sean Shapiro says, “The Macclenny Samaritan Food Bank roof replacement and food drive went wonderfully, making the first phase of the 2018 Every Shingle Heart Initiative complete. We all felt so humbled, and yet honored, as a team to have the opportunity to help the Food Bank and the people they serve.”

Pastor Mitch Rhoden of the Samaritan Food Pantry says, “I want to express my heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the wonderful roofing job at the food bank. The food drive and roof replacement are such a huge help to the work that we do weekly. The food will be used to feed many families in the area.”

Reliant Roofing Announces Final Recipient of Every Shingle Heart Initiative

Reliant Roofing announced their final recipient of the 2018 Every Shingle Heart Initiative to the Samaritan Food Pantry based out of Macclenny, Florida. This is the first year that Reliant Roofing has included a non-profit in their annual Every Shingle Heart Initiative, which provides new roofs to the community. Earlier this year, Reliant Roofing announced in a surprise ceremony their selection of two local families to receive new roofs.

CEO Sean Shapiro says, “Our ultimate goal with Every Shingle Heart was to bring our community together and help as many people as possible. With this in mind, we have chosen the Samaritan Food Pantry as the third recipient of our 2018 Every Shingle Heart Initiative. This organization provides food and other supplies to those in need. Their volunteers are the nicest people, who truly care about the individuals who live in their community. Their facility has been damaged heavily by hurricanes and hail, and we felt that the food pantry deserved to have someone help them for a change.”

Reliant Roofing will begin replacement of the new roof on Saturday, November 17. That day, the team will also be hosting a food drive to benefit the Samaritan Food Pantry. Non-perishable Thanksgiving Dinner food items can be dropped off between 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Donations will also be accepted November 1st – November 19th. Items can be dropped off from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. at United Christian Church located at 590 North 7th Street Macclenny, Fla.

Pastor Mitch Rhoden of the Samaritan Food Pantry says, “We appreciate anybody that can help us feed 1000 people or more per month. Reliant Roofing is helping us do what God has called us to do, which is help care for the residents in our community in Baker County. We are just so appreciative and thankful for the roof replacement donation along with the Thanksgiving food drive that Reliant Roofing is hosting on our behalf. We feed 1,000 people or more a month and that number will be even higher during the holiday months. The need for help here is great, so this roof and food donation is such a blessing and we can’t express enough how much we appreciate all the help!”

All three recipients of the 2018 Every Shingle Heart Initiative will have their new roofs completed by the end of this year. To learn more about our recipients and Every Shingle Heart visit: https://reliantroofing.com/everyshingleheart/.
