CorruBracket 100T from S-5! is designed specifically for corrugated roofing profiles that are common in North America. CorruBracket 100T is affixed to the crest of the corrugation, leaving the drainage plane free of holes to protect against leaks. The bracket can be attached directly to the sheeting, accommodating ancillary attachment anywhere along the corrugation. For heavy-duty applications, the bracket can be fixed into the underlying substrate for additional support without crushing the corrugation. CorruBracket 100T comes with a factory-applied EPDM rubber gasket seal already on the base; the S-5!-patented reservoir conceals the EPDM from UV exposure.

The RibBracket comes with a factory-applied EPDM rubber gasket seal already on the base, and the S-5!-patented reservoir conceals the EPDM from UV exposure, preventing drying and cracks. The RibBracket is mounted directly onto the crown of the panel, straddling the profile. No surface preparation is necessary; simply wipe away excess oil and debris, align and apply. RibBracket is economical and facilitates quick and easy installation. The slotted top hole, which accommodates standard M8 nuts and bolts, simplifies alignment and maximizes flexibility in attaching ancillaries.

Clamps Accommodate Metal Roof Panels With a Horizontal Seam

S-5-H clamp and S-5-H Mini clamp

S-5-H clamp and S-5-H Mini clamp

S-5! introduces two clamps for metal roof panels. The S-5-H clamp was developed to securely and cost-effectively accommodate metal roof panels with a horizontal seam. The S-5-H allows for attachment to a horizontal seam on the vertical leg of the seam.

The clamp’s two-piece design allows it to be installed anywhere along the length of the rib, simplifying installation. Just place the clamp on the seam, slide the insert piece into place and tighten the setscrews. After the clamp is installed, affix ancillary items using the top stainless steel bolt provided. The S-5-H can be used with the S-5! ColorGard snow retention system and other heavy-duty applications.

The S-5-H Mini is a bit shorter than the S-5-H and has one setscrew rather than two. The mini can be used for attaching a variety of rooftop accessories, including signs, walkways, satellite dishes, antennas, rooftop lighting, lightning protection systems, solar arrays, exhaust stack bracing, conduit, condensate lines and mechanical equipment. S-5! mini clamps are not compatible with S-5! SnoRail/SnoFence or ColorGard snow retention systems.

One-piece Clamp Fits Standing-seam Panels with Horizontal Seams

The S-5-H90 is a one-piece clamp that was developed to accommodate metal roof panels with a horizontal seam greater than 0.65 inch.

The S-5-H90 is a one-piece clamp that was developed to securely and cost‑effectively accommodate metal roof panels with a horizontal seam greater than 0.65 inch.

Turning the clamp 90 degrees so that the bolt hole side is facing up, slip the clamp on the seam and tighten the setscrews. Go to the S-5! website for information about properly attaching S-5! clamps. After the clamp is installed, affix ancillary items using either of the two threaded bolt holes and bolt provided. The S-5-H90 is perfect for use with S-5! ColorGard and X-Gard snow retention systems and other heavy-duty applications.

The S-5-H90 Mini is a bit shorter than the S-5-H90 and has one setscrew and one threaded bolt hole rather than two. The mini is the choice for attaching all kinds of rooftop accessories: signs, walkways, satellite dishes, antennas, rooftop lighting, lightning protection systems, solar arrays, exhaust stack bracing, conduit, condensate lines, mechanical equipment—just about anything!*

The S-5-H90 and S-5-H90 Mini clamps are each furnished with the hardware shown to the right. Each box also includes a bit tip for tightening setscrews using an electric screw gun. The structural aluminum attachment clamp is compatible with all common metal roofing materials excluding copper. All necessary stainless steel hardware is included. Please visit www.S-5.com for more information including CAD details, metallurgical compatibilities and specifications.

The S-5-H90 clamp has been tested for load-to-failure results on a variety of horizontal standing seam roof profiles from leading panel manufacturers. The independent lab test reports can be found on the company’s website.

Clamp Fits Vertically Folded Seam Profiles

The S-5-V clamp from S-5!

The S-5-V clamp from S-5! is a versatile clamp that fits vertically folded seam profiles manufactured in North America, including most structural and architectural profiles. Its simple design and generous dimensioning are what make the S-5-V clamp usable with S-5! snow-retention products, such as ColorGard, and other heavy-duty applications. Installation includes setting the patented roundpoint setscrews into the clamp, placing the clamp on the seam and tightening them to the specified tension. Then, affix ancillary items using the stainless-steel bolt provided.

Add Components to Your ColorGard Snow Retention System

S-5!'s SnapClip II

S-5!’s SnapClip II

SnapClip II or SnapClip III are optional components that can be added to your S-5! ColorGard snow retention system to further retard the migration of snow. It has a special integrated rubber “foot” to prevent abrasion of the panel’s finish. SnapClip snaps onto the back of the crossmember and extends down to the flat of the roofing panel.

Snap the SnapClip onto your ColorGard crossmember after installation. One or two clips are used between seams (please visit www.S-5.com for details). Mount the SnapClip to the back of the crossmember using the lock that results with the rubber “foot” resting properly on the panel surface. When applying downward pressure on the part, the “toe” should engage the surface of the panel just before the “heel.” Screw SnapClip into place utilizing the provided stainless steel self-tapping screw.

SnapClip II has two locks and is especially made for seam heights of 1 inch (25 mm) and 1 3/4 inch (44.5 mm) snap. It will also fit 2-inch (51-mm) vertical seams but not 2 inch (51 mm) horizontal.

SnapClip III has three different locks and will work on seam heights of 1 3/4 inch (44.5 mm) up to 3 inches (76 mm).

Mount Snow-retention Systems and Solar Panels

S-5!'s VersaGard

S-5!’s VersaGard

VersaGard is a strong, versatile and affordable exposed-fastened solution for mounting snow retention and solar panels. It is compatible with almost any trapezoidal, exposed-fastened profile. VersaGard comes with factory-applied butyl sealant already in the base; the S-5!-patented reservoir conceals the sealant from UV exposure, preventing drying and cracks. A VersaGard pipe snow-retention system functions without cluttering the lines of the roof. It also can be used in lieu of an L-foot to support the installation of photovoltaic panels. VersaGard works with most rail or racking systems and can be oriented parallel or perpendicular to the roof line.

Snow-retention Solution for Almost Any Metal Roofing Profile

X-Clip from S-5!

X-Clip from S-5!

X-Gard snow-retention solution from S-5! can be designed as a one- or two-pipe system spanning up to 48 inches. X-Gard is mechanically attached with patented round-point setscrews, gripping seams securely without penetration or damage to the panel’s protective finishes. Two clamps with each bracket and the unique shape of the NEX 2.0 pipe enables a properly installed X-Gard system to provide a reliable snow-retention solution in a wide variety of situations. The X-Clip is an aluminum component that slows the migration of snow and ice beneath the X-Gard NEX 2.0 Pipe. Its integrated rubber “foot” prevents abrasion of the panel’s finish.
