KM Coatings has added KM Acryl 85 to its line of acrylic roof coatings. KM Acryl 85 is a durable, water-based roof coating with high tensile strength. It is applied over the entire surface of the roof to form a seamless membrane that weatherproofs the roof and can extend the life of the roof. Preparing the roof surface prior to applying an elastomeric coating is crucial for the long-term performance of roof systems, so KM Coatings also launched KM EPDM primer, a rinseable, low viscosity sprayable liquid used to pre-treat and promote adhesion to an EPDM rubber roof membrane. KM Coatings also developed KM Min-Prime, a low-VOC, stain blocking acrylic primer formulated to enhance the adhesion of acrylic roof coatings to a variety of substrates.
