Advanced Roofing Acquires Miami Facility, Adding 80 Jobs With Growth in South Florida

Advanced Roofing Inc. is expanding its south region operations with the acquisition of an 21,000-square-foot facility in Miami that will help facilitate the addition of 80 jobs. Strategically located in the growing central Miami area, the building at 1733 N.W. 21 Terrace is between SR 112 and SR 836 to allow additional access for Miami-Dade and Monroe counties.

With a total of 80 open job positions, mostly in South Florida, this additional space will facilitate growth for the company and future plans as a third-generation organization. As pioneers in the construction industry, Advanced Roofing, a 37-year-old company, provides services with 65 trucks in the region.

“With additional demands for our services, especially solar, we are supporting requests of both private commercial clients in addition to public contracts in this region,” said CEO Rob Kornahrens. “This acquisition also brings additional team members to a green energy building with an appealing, conveniently-located facility. We are also installing a new solar roof to showcase our most recent technology.”

The Advanced family of companies includes Advanced Green Technologies and Advanced Air System, a commercial air conditioning contractor with class-A license. The full-service air conditioning division can perform unlimited services for commercial and industrial customers in the Miami area including new installations, repairs, retrofits, and maintenance.

“At Advanced Roofing, we take great pride in workforce development and creating new opportunities for both existing employees as well as new team members,” Kornahrens added. “To meet the growing demand with construction taking place in Miami-Dade County, this new building makes great sense and is perfect for all the right environmental reasons.”
