ATAS International, Inc. announced the launch of Corra-Max, its new 2-inch-deep corrugated metal panel for wall cladding applications. This unique profile stands out in the market with its enhanced depth and exposed fastener design, making it a versatile and visually striking option for architects, designers, and building owners. In recent years, there has been a growing interest among architects and designers for deeper corrugated metal panels. This demand is driven by several factors, including a desire for heavier shadow lines, bold visual impact, and panel rigidity.
Engineered for both aesthetic appeal and performance, the Corra-Max panel offers deeper corrugations, adding dimension and visual interest to building façades. Its exposed fastener system allows for easy installation and cost efficiency, making it an ideal solution for both commercial and industrial projects.
Corra-Max can be used along with other ATAS profiles, allowing for creative design flexibility. This unique new profile provides specifiers with a truly distinctive cladding option. It is available in aluminum (.032, .040, .050), and in metallic coated steel and Al-Zn alloy coated steel with acrylic coating (24, 22, and 20 gauges – the 22 and 20 gauges are subject to minimum quantities and extended lead time). Corra-Max can be manufactured in a smooth or stucco embossed surface, with 36” of coverage, and a minimum panel length of 6’-0”. The maximum panel length is determined by transportation limitations and/or product and project design considerations.
“We’re excited to introduce this game-changing corrugated panel to the industry,” said Jim Bush, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at ATAS International. “The introduction of Corra-Max has the ability to enhance architectural design by its deep corrugations and its compatibility with other profiles allow for greater design freedom, while the exposed fasteners streamline installation without sacrificing aesthetics.”
The durability and resiliency of Corra-Max makes it a reliable, long-lasting cladding solution. It is available in a diverse array of finishes and colors, including stock, premium, and matte options, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of architectural styles. For added design versatility, the Oxide Series offers colors that replicate the look of weathered steel, provided in a high-performance 70% PVDF paint finish, allowing for even greater creative freedom.
