“Duck Dynasty” TV Star Gets Patriotic Home Makeover

Si Robertson, the “Duck Dynasty” reality TV star, recently received a home makeover that has caught the attention of his neighbors in Monroe, Louisiana. The roofing team at Northeast Louisiana Roofing transformed Robertson’s roof using a patriotic design evoking the  American flag — a fitting tribute for the Army veteran.

The project was the first step in NELA Roofing’s initiative to upgrade the homes of veterans in the area to honor those who have served. “It all kind of started with us looking to try to do a veterans program through Owens Corning,” said Jeremy Antley of NELA Roofing. “But we ended up partnering with Owens Corning and we kind of made our own veterans’ program. If you are a lower-income veteran and you need a roof, we do have financing options available, and we can definitely get you a red, white, and blue roof, too.”
