Georgia Web, Manufacturer of ProfileVent Products for Ventco, Names New Executive Vice President

Georgia Web, the manufacturer of ProfileVent products for Ventco, announced the promotion of Randy Smith to be the company’s Executive Vice President. Smith has been with Georgia Web since 2004, serving as plant manager and most recently as Vice President of Manufacturing, where he managed all day-to-day operations and 14 full-time employees. Before coming to Georgia Web, Smith spent 24 years with Glit/Microtron Inc. in the nonwovens industry, working in all facets of the manufacturing, converting, packaging, warehousing and shipping areas and managed a warehouse of approximately 180 people.
