Refillable System for Commercial Roofing Adhesives

ICP Building Solutions Group’s latest low-slope commercial roofing solution is a refillable system and is intended to pair with the company’s Polyset CR-20 and Board-Max adhesives. Polyset CR-20 is a low-rise, two-component polyurethane foam adhesive engineered for speed and simplicity. According to the company, it’s ideal for adhering fleece back membranes in both new and re-roof applications. Polyset Board-Max adhesive is specifically engineered to secure insulation and cover boards to various roof decks, cover boards and substrates.

The new refillable cylinder options provide the same quality adhesives and a lower applied cost per square foot, with the same Handi-Gun dispensing unit and ColorWise Temperature Warning Nozzles, making it easy to access hard-to-reach areas and provide faster application on open roofs. According to the manufacturer, the system offers a higher coverage rate than disposable tanks, and low cost to entry makes this system ideal for high-volume and high-efficiency roofing contractors.

“As part of our mission as an organization to innovate with contractors’ needs in mind, we’re pleased to bring refillable systems to the market, paired with our leading Polyset CR-20 and Board-Max adhesives,” said Dave Spaulding, director of sales, ICP BSG Low Slope Roofing Products. “This offering reduces equipment and applied costs while reducing the environmental impact of work, both on and off the job site, by eliminating landfill waste.”

After the completion of the job, returning the cylinders is easy. When the tanks are empty, contractors simply return them to the pallet, wrap the pallet, and call the 800 number that comes with the cylinders on the Bill of Lading. There is no return freight for the contractor because the return freight is built into the total cost of the product, making this a greener solution with fewer steps for the contractor.
