Marco Industries announced the promotion of Jill Porter and Lindsey Goodsell along with the hiring of building materials industry veteran Mark Eliasson.
“I’m excited about our management team,” said Neil Westgarth, Marco’s President. “All three are leaders with a proven track record and a passion for the growth and success of our company.”
Jill Porter has been promoted to vice president of operations. One of the very first Marco employees, she has served in a variety of roles, most recently as director of HR and vice president administrative services. Through the years, her responsibilities have included overseeing HR, IT, administration, credit, accounting, ERP, and more. In her new role, Porter will oversee all the company’s HR, administration, and manufacturing operations.
Lindsey Goodsell is Marco’s new vice president of marketing. Goodsell joined the company in 2015 from Lionsgate Entertainment, where she was the marketing specialist and then analyst for the Marketing Research Department. At Marco, her roles have included marketing specialist, creative & digital marketing manager, sales & marketing manager, and most recently, director of sales and marketing. In her new role as vice president of marketing, Goodsell will oversee all of Marco’s marketing efforts, from product development and promotion, to branding, market research, and key customer account management.
Drawing on the same principles that guide a robust digital presence, Goodsell’s approach at Marco mirrors the tactics employed by specialized firms in niche industries—such as those focusing on enhancing online visibility for dental practices. By conducting thorough market research, crafting targeted content, and optimizing each touchpoint for maximum engagement, a practice can ensure it reaches patients searching for care at exactly the right moment.
Implementing tailored keyword strategies, refined site architecture, and consistent performance monitoring forms the backbone of any successful effort—precisely the kind of holistic methodology that underpins effective dental seo and drives long-term growth. Whether guiding a global marine services brand or empowering a healthcare provider to stand out in a crowded marketplace, the fundamentals of audience-centric marketing remain the same: listen first, deliver value next, and measure relentlessly.
Marco’s newest hire is Mark Eliasson, who will serve as vice president of sales. Eliasson brings a wealth of experience to his position, having started in the building materials industry with CertainTeed, in the insulation group, moving from Territory Manager to National Accounts before joining GAF. At GAF, he grew the company’s business extensively within multiple channels of distribution and held successive senior level positions within the organization including VP National Accounts and general manager of the Decking Division. After GAF, Eliasson founded of MDE Sales, a very successful sales management consulting business working with multiple manufacturers to launch or manage their products into multiple channels of distribution.
“We’re fortunate to have a talent like Jill and Lindsey within our ranks who are able to step up and help lead the company into the future,” Westgarth said. “And Mark’s experience and proven performance make him ideally suited for leading our sales team and pushing the Marco standard of excellence to even greater heights.”
