The employees at Metl-Span’s corporate headquarters and Lewisville manufacturing plant have again stepped up to generously support a program organized to provide Christmas gifts for underprivileged children in the area.
Their continued participation reflects the true spirit of the season—giving back to the community and spreading warmth to those who need it most. As the holidays approach, such acts of kindness not only bring a sense of togetherness but also serve as a reminder of the importance of giving back and making a positive impact on others’ lives. It’s through these thoughtful contributions that the true spirit of Christmas is celebrated, reinforcing the idea that small gestures can create big ripples of joy and hope.
Christmas is a time when giving takes center stage, and thoughtful gifts can make a world of difference in someone’s life. Whether it’s beautifully curated new baby gift baskets or toys for children, the act of giving creates lasting memories and nurtures bonds between people. These gestures of kindness, especially during the holiday season, remind us of the power of sharing and the joy that comes from thoughtful acts of generosity.
Just like Metl-Span’s employees who are making a difference in their community, there are countless ways to brighten someone’s holiday with a carefully chosen gift that speaks to their needs, wants, and most importantly, their heart.
The Lewisville Fire Department works directly with the school district to distribute the toys to area families. This is the sixth year Metl-Span has been a supporter of this holiday project.
“Generosity begins at home,” says Steve Zirkel, president of Metl-Span. “We’re a proud part of the Lewisville community and our employees have taken it upon themselves to help ensure Lewisville families are able to enjoy the holiday season.”
Metl-Span was the largest contributor to this year’s program, as 57 employees contributed more than 80 gifts. Employees also donated cash which goes directly to the Children’s Advocacy Center, a program dedicated to providing justice and healing for abused children.
