Midland Engineering Team Member Named Winner in Roofing Alliance MVP Awards Program

Midland Engineering, a commercial roofing contractor serving Michiana and the greater South Bend, Indiana, region, announced that team member Terry Archer was named a winner in the Roofing Alliance 2021-2022 Most Valuable Player (MVP) Awards Program.

The MVP Awards program celebrates workers who are outstanding employees within their companies and recognizes them for their outstanding performance. They are characterized by having a strong work ethic, showing leadership, initiative and resourcefulness, earning an outstanding safety record, supporting their co-workers and going above and beyond.

“Terry is truly one of a kind on all aspects of his job as a foreman for our company,” said Gregory R. Seiss, vice president of Operations for Midland Engineering, in a testimonial. “Terry has been a key component for Midland Engineering’s overall outstanding safety performance in the roofing industry.”

Terry has become known for his leadership on many high-profile roofing applications, including one of the most challenging projects in the company’s 100-year history — the roof replacement at the University of Notre Dame’s JACC Basketball Arena in 2018.

Tony Polotto, Director of Construction and Quality Assurance at Notre Dame, said, “After several years of working with Terry Archer on Midland Engineering’s projects, I have always been impressed with how much respect he treats all of his co-workers and our Notre Dame Staff. Simply said, Terry is a good guy that seems to brighten everyone’s day around him.”
