NRCA CEO Reid Ribble Testifies Before the House Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress

NRCA CEO Reid Ribble testified before the House Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress today during its hearing, “Speaking from Experience: Former Members on Congressional Reform.”

Ribble was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2010 and served Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District for six years. The committee heard from a bipartisan panel of six former members of Congress who shared their congressional experiences and offered potential areas for reform.

Ribble; former Reps. Tom Davis (R-Va.), Vic Fazio (D-Calif.), Martin Frost (D-Texas) and Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.); and former ambassador Tim Roemer (D-Ind.) spoke regarding a broad range of issues, including staff recruitment, transparency, technology, building civility and trust, and improving the quality of life for those working in the legislative branch.
