Underlayment Suited for Metal-roof Applications

Atlas Roofing Corp. has unveiled WeatherMaster Film SE, a high-temperature underlayment that is suited to metal roof applications. The underlayment gives continuous protection to the entire deck of a properly ventilated roof and mitigates problem areas where water can collect. The flexible product is easy to install in critical transition areas where the roofline elevation changes. It provides a secondary layer of waterproofing to prevent damage from windblown rain and meets ASTM D1970 for ice-dam underlayment. The SBS modified membrane features a textured surface for traction and skid-resistance.
