Winners Selected in 2024 “Show Us Our Snow Guards” Contest by Rocky Mountain Snow Guards, Inc.

Rocky Mountain Snow Guards, Inc., has announced the 10 winners in its inaugural nationwide “Show Us Our Snow Guards” Contest. Five Grand Prize winners, each receiving $1,000 cash for their most outstanding entries in each category, are as follows:

Outstanding Residential Project Snow Retention System: Umbrella Roofing, Inc. out of Eagle, Colorado, for their use of RG16 snow guards and No-Flash II – 2-Pipe fence-style snow retention system on a residence in Avon, Colorado.

Outstanding Commercial Project Snow Retention System: Turner Morris Commercial Roofing out of Arvada, Colorado, for their use of Blizzard Heavy Duty III with S-5! S clamps snow fence system on a standing seam copper roof at the Park Plaza Condominiums in Avon, Colorado. 

Most Impressive Bar Style Snow Retention System: Northwest Roof Tile & Metal out of Houston, Texas, for their use of S-5! ColorGard bar system with U clamps on an apartment complex at Princeton University in New Jersey.

Most Impressive Snow Guard System Project: Brennan Exteriors LLC out of Mukwonago, Wisconsin, for the use of copper RG16 snow guards and Drift II snow fences on a home in Nashotah, Wisconsin.

Most Impressive Fence Style Snow Retention System: On Point Contracting out of Littleton, Colorado, for their use of Drift Solar Snow Fences on a residence in Louisville, Colorado.

Five Runner Up winners, each receiving $1,000 credit on a Rocky Mountain Snow Guards order to be used by the end of 2025, include:

  • Outstanding Residential Project Snow Retention System: Strait Line Roofing in Littleton, Colorado, for their use of 1,257 RG16 snow guards on a home in Larkspur, Colorado.
  • Outstanding Commercial Project Snow Retention System: Fixins Roofing and Home Services out of Colorado Springs, Colorado, for their use of Yeti 6 snow guards on the Renaissance RidgeGate West Village Community Association complex in Lone Tree, Colorado.
  • Most Impressive Bar Style Snow Retention System: Turner Morris Commercial Roofing out of Arvarda, Colorado, for their use of S-5! ColorGard bar system with E clamps on a maintenance shed at Vail Resorts Management Company in Avon, Colorado.
  • Most Impressive Snow Guard System Project: Umbrella Roofing, Inc. out of Eagle, CO for their use of RG10 snow guards and a Drift III snow fence snow retention system on a home in Colorado.
  • Most Impressive Fence Style Snow Retention System: Dahlenburg Roofing out of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, for their use of a Drift II fence style snow guard system on St. Augustine Church in Denver.

The “Show Us Our Snow Guards” Contest ran from April 15 – August 1, 2024. Next year’s contest information will be posted in early 2025.
