Union Corrugating<\/a>\u2019s MetalPro program saw a record number of new members in 2013. MetalPro helps new and experienced metal roofing contractors refine their skills and stay up to date on the latest installation procedures.<\/p>\n

\u201cContractors are on the front lines of the metal roofing market, and they are seeing an increased interest and popularity of residential metal roofing,\u201d says Jason Thornton, Union\u2019s vice president of Sales and Marketing. \u201cAs a result, we decided to look at how we could add training sessions to the MetalPro program to assure our contractors stay ahead of this increasing market.\u201d<\/p>\n

The MetalPro program provides training on the latest products and installation processes and techniques with a focus on residential applications. It also provides members with sales and marketing information they can use when talking with homeowners. Thornton adds, \u201cIn 2014, we will be conducting a minimum of one MetalPro session each week for the entire year. We\u2019ve also added more advanced training so that existing members can continue to learn.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Basic MetalPro training class is required for all new members. In addition, Union has added new classes to the 2014 schedule, including:<\/p>\n
