{"id":5625,"date":"2017-01-12T08:00:35","date_gmt":"2017-01-12T13:00:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/roofingmagazine.com\/?p=5625"},"modified":"2017-01-12T10:04:51","modified_gmt":"2017-01-12T15:04:51","slug":"atas-host-building-envelope-education-event","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roofingmagazine.com\/atas-host-building-envelope-education-event\/","title":{"rendered":"ATAS To Host Building Envelope Education Event"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.atas.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">ATAS International Inc.<\/a> will be hosting Designing with Metal \u2013 Building Envelope Education, an AIA\/CES education event at the Building Envelope Design Center in Mesa, Ariz. on Thursday, Feb. 9th and Friday, Feb. 10th.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nIn addition to four presentations by ATAS, and a plant tour of the manufacturing facility, four additional presentations will be given by other individuals in the architectural building envelope industry.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vmzinc-us.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Umicore Building Products USA\/VMZINC<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lorin.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lorin Industries<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hendrickarchproducts.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hendrick Architectural Products<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.roofinox.com\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\">Roofinox America<\/a> will also be sharing knowledge about zinc, anodized aluminum, perforated metal, and stainless steel.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nArchitect members of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aia.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">American Institute of Architects<\/a> are required to complete 18 LUs from registered AIA\/CES providers each year.\u00a0 Of the 18 LUs, 12 must be in the topic areas of health, safety and welfare (HSW).\u00a0 By attending this entire event, a total of 9.5 LUs can be earned; more than half of the annual AIA membership requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Lee Ann M.
