The new site still features ECLE’s popular NFPA780 Lightning Risk Calculator, an easy-to-use tool to evaluate the need for lightning protection in a specific location for a specific building, plus a much-expanded “Understanding Lightning Protection” section.

ECLE’s new site includes an expansive Building Type section to help project planners understand the special considerations for lightning protection that are relevant to their specific building occupancies or uses. Throughout the new site, there are plenty of photos to illustrate the various elements of lightning protection systems, as well as numerous photo galleries to peruse for education and inspiration.
