Roofers’ Choice: Horizontal Lifeline System

FlashCo is now offering the new Total Grip horizontal lifeline (HLL) system which allows the users to remain safely connected to the roof structure throughout the entire system without disconnecting and reconnecting. The modular design enables multiple setup options for different roof conditions, all using the same base plate platform. Total Grip can be installed on virtually all roof deck types and base plates are attached to the roof with minimal intervention.

The Total Grip HLL is a permanent system that is engineered to be on the roof for the lifetime of the roof installation. It can be configured in many different layouts and users find it to be easy to install and maintain.

“Our new horizontal lifeline system is a great product for the market,” said Jeremy Grimes, Roof Safety Specialist. “It is an engineered system that is non-invasive. With our roofing and waterproofing background, we can really assist roofers by providing a permanent safety system and keeping it watertight, too.”

FlashCo is the largest independent manufacturer of roof flashings and accessories in North America, and the new addition of fall protection systems further enhances FlashCo’ s line of commercial roofing products.

“We have over 23 years of experience on the roof, so this is a natural extension of our core expertise,” said Bill Bartell, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “The new fall protection systems will be coupled with certified installers, so we can offer a complete solution that includes the hardware, installation and certifications.”
