NRCA Offers OSHA National Safety Stand-Down Week Webinar Series

The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) will offer a free OSHA National Safety Stand-Down Week Webinar Series in support of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s May 2-6 event.

The three-day webinar series will be held May 3-5 and feature Tom Shanahan, Rich Trewyn and Cheryl Ambrose from NRCA’s enterprise risk management department sharing insights regarding various fall-protection topics.

Each webinar features a 30-minute presentation and an additional 30 minutes for Q&A. Topics include personal fall-arrest systems, including calculated clearance distances May 3; ladder use and setup, three points of contact, guardrails, and warning lines and safety monitoring systems May 4; and rescue techniques and suspension trauma May 5. All the webinars will be held from 11 a.m.-noon CDT.
