The KD-480 Scissor Shears from Kett Tool has a stationary bottom blade and large “rabbit ear” blades to funnel thick, soft materials into the scissor jaws for a clean cut, without fouling or gouging.

The KD-480 Scissor Shears use a 5-amp pistol grip, variable speed 2500 RPM motor that cuts through pliable materials, such as carpet, carpet underlayment, foam rubber, linoleum, vinyl, woven wood fabric and chipboard. The KD-480 even handles heavy foil, light insulated wire, hardware cloth and mesh screening with ease. At 16 inches long and weighing just 4 pounds, the shears deliver a precise cut with adjustable cutting speeds that can be tailored for optimal results. All shear heads are precision made in the U.S. featuring A-2 tool steel blades for durability.
