West Coast Florida Enterprises (WCFE), a 32-year-old building restoration and roofing company based in Fort Myers, Fla., announced the promotions of six of its employees. Tim Waters, Terrill Brake, Debbie Evans, Harold Martin, Ryan Nicholas, and Scott Otey are all being appointed to new corporate positions in the company’s administration.

Tim Waters, formerly the company’s operations manager, is the new vice president of operations. Waters has been with WCFE since 1999. According to the company, as vice president of operations, he will have decision-making authority with regards to the daily operations in the warehouse, field, and custom ornamental and welded fabrications division.

Terrill Brake, once known as the company’s sales manager overseeing its roofing division, is moving up to vice president of sales. He spent five years with WCFE in the early 2000s and returned to the company in early 2014. As vice president of sales, Brake will have both decision-making authority and the authority to negotiate contracts in all things sales related.

Since January 2014, Debbie Evans has been WCFE’s CPA/controller, organizing and structuring the corporate books as additional divisions of the company have been acquired. Now as chief financial officer (CFO), Evans will have authority to make financial decisions on behalf of the corporation.

In WCFE’s 15th year, Harold Martin joined the company. As its former general manager, Martin has worn many hats, but as the company’s new chief compliance officer, he will have the authority to make decisions on behalf of the company with regard to safety, risk management, compliance, and other legal matters.

Scott Otey, the former vice president, will assume the role of president, taking over the role formerly held by founder and CEO Bruce Nicholas. Otey has been with WCFE since 1990. As president, he will be responsible for the company’s overall day-to-day management. All officers listed above will report to Otey and he will have the last word in all corporate matters.

Assuming role of vice president is Ryan Nicholas. The company’s former commercial roofing superintendent is being groomed to lead the family business in the future, according to WCFE. As vice president, Ryan Nicholas will focus on corporate matters, including financial, legal and contractual concerns.
