Wider Ridge Cap

PABCO Roofing Products introduces Shadow Cap Wide, a new, wider version of its ridge cap. More than 3 inches wider than the company’s standard Shadow Cap product, Shadow Cap Wide is the optimal shingle option for coverage, color matching, and vented ridge applications.

Available in eight colors, Shadow Cap Wide complements all PABCO Roofing Products shingle lines. The new product also includes Algae Defender with copper granules to provide defense against black streaks caused by blue-green algae. In addition to superior performance, each Shadow Cap Wide color is engineered to meet the high aesthetic standards of all PABCO Roofing shingle lines.

PABCO Roofing’s Shadow Cap Wide provides enhanced flexibility for accommodating diverse roofline styles. This innovative enhancement to the PABCO Roofing collection allows for a unified solution across different ridges, hips, gables, and vented ridge systems, showcasing a commitment to versatility and performance. Each bundle covers 31 linear feet of ridge cap and is designed for easy application. 

The new Shadow Cap Wide meets key industry performance ratings and requirements:

• UL 790 Class A fire rating in the U.S.
• CAN/ULC-S107 fire rating in Canada
• ASTM D3161 Class A wind rating
